Freezer Meal Prep
Instead of a baking dish, use a greased aluminum tray. No need to preheat or bake — just let the layered mixture cool, cover with foil, write the date and reheat instructions on top, and pop it in the freezer. It keeps for at least 3 months.
Reheat from Frozen
Defrost in the refrigerator overnight, then bake at 400°F for 30–40 minutes. Check the internal temperature to make sure it's heated through.
